HELP:
To search for data in the Economic Data Assist, follow the steps:
1. Homepage
a. If you click on Texas Overview you will find some trends of Texas.
b. If you click on Resources you will be directed to our main web-site.
c. If you click on Maps you will be directed to Google Maps.
2. Texas
If you select this area you can see a drop-down box menu with different economic variables and select the desired field, click the "GO" button to view
the data available.
3. Region
Select a Region you prefer from a drop-down box menu and the different economic variables in another drop-down menu, click the "GO" button to view
the data available.
4. County
Select a County you prefer from a drop-down box menu and the different economic variables in another drop-down menu, click the "GO" button to view
the data available.
5. MSA
Select a Micropolitan (or) Metropolitan Area from a drop-dowm box menu, then choose a related field (economic variables) in the other drop-down
box menu and click the "GO" button to view the data available.
*Micropolitan areas does not have all the fields as in Metropolitan areas.*
6. City
Select a City from a drop-dowm box menu, then choose a related field (economic variables) in the other drop-down box menu and click the "GO" button
to view the data available.
Note: 1. If you choose a monthly or quarterly data you must 'Select a Year' and click the "GO" button to view the data available.
2. If you would like to compare the selected economic variable (field) between different areas by choosing from the drop-down box 'Compare'.
Recommendation: Internet Explorer or Safari is the suitable web browsers for the Economic Data Assist webpage.
